Proclaim

In a world that is full of darkness, a light will shine through. A light is a beacon of hope. A light is a signal of something greater to come. This light is the only hope of the world, and has withstood the test of time; all history revolves around this light. And, we, as believers of this light, must live to proclaim His gospel. Christ has called each of us to be witnesses to what He has done, and what He is doing. He has given us a mission to accomplish, in hope of hastening His return. We are ALL called to proclaim His Gospel.

This past week, our students were taught just that. From the oldest to the youngest, we are all commissioned by the King to proclaim His gospel. There is no greater work than to be on mission for the glory of Jesus, and leverage your career, family, and life to see His gospel spread throughout the world.

We saw evidence of this very thing. Two students prayed to receive Christ as their Savior and Lord, and also two followed Him in believer’s baptism. This is huge news! Praise Jesus for His glorious gift of grace and salvation! The Word was proclaimed, and the Holy Spirit did the work.

I could go on and on about all the cool things that our students experienced at camp, but this is the ultimate reason why we go… It is an opportunity for students to be loved on and cared for like no other time throughout the year. It is an opportunity to get away from the daily stresses of life, and commune with other students and believers from around the country. It is an opportunity for students to be poured into, and shown the love of Christ!

Thank you for praying for our students this week! Please continue to lift them up as they seek to live out the mission in which we are all called to… Proclaim the Gospel of Christ for the glory of His name to the ends of the earth!

In Him,

AW
