The Awana year is now over… The last night of Awana was last evening and the stories from this past year will absolutely blow your mind. Over the course of the last year, we have been praying for a massive movement of God to take place within the faith family at New Friendship. In my infinite praying and mind, I believed this would take place through the adults at NFBC, and little did I know God had something else in mind.
Take a look at the picture above… This is what it is all about. Seeing Christ exalted through the lives of the next generation. They are not ashamed of their faith, and they are willing to be bold about it. We have heard countless stories of how students are sharing the Word with their classmates at school and inviting them to church gatherings. We have seen the glory of Christ as students are coming to faith in Jesus! This is just a small outpouring of what God is up to in the lives of kids.
As we go throughout the rest of the week, find encouragement in the fact that God is still at work, and He is going to be glorified! His Kingdom will never fail, and nothing can stand Christ’s way. He will be exalted and honored. May we jump on board as we see Him working, and work alongside Him, for the advancement of the Kingdom!
The words of the Apostle Paul… “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21
